Perhaps
Sometimes I wonder about the vinyl renaissance and wonder if it is for me.
I wee retirement hobby.
I grew up with it obviously, then graduated to cassettes and then CDs, and so on. The First Wife held onto whatever vinyl I owned from the 60s and 70s, so I have none up in the attic to base a new collection on.
I felt the urge today whilst gazing longingly into the window of Reset Records in Utrecht. That Pat Boone album is so hard to resist. The place was shut, fortunately, so the moment passed.
The Extra is Rietveld Schröderhuis, also in Utrecht. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The house dates from 1924 and was designed by architect Gerrit Rietveld (for Mrs Schröder). Google it if you are so moved.
I am in Maastricht tonight after a very pleasant train journey.
