Midnight Owl

Somewhere in the depths of the various storage devices are the pictures I took of the many owls who formed a Wild in Art trail in 2015 raising funds for the Birmingham Children's Hospital. I had not long acquired a small digital camera and it was really a way of learning to use that more, rather than as a walking challenge as I did for the bears trail a couple of years after this. 

I did really like this particular one, which was situated not far from Symphony Hall and Central Library just off Broad Street. I do remember having to go back several times to try to get pictures of it without other people doing likewise, and treated myself to this model of it when it was all over. 

Quite why I got to pondering this today, a rainy Bank Holiday, I'm not sure. But, it suited my Big Think mood.
