Stripes

Last year this bank of roses was half eaten by deer.  This year it’s amazing!  Covered in buds and flowers and looking glorious.   It’s Rosa Mundi one of the oldest varieties and smells divine and is brilliant in a vase.  

Walked up into the wood first thing - the dog actually seemed to want to come and bounced a long for once. 

Worked at home today - nothing much to report on that front. A fairly long meeting on one project and a quick read of a novel to make my knowledge of that writer appear effortless.  

In the evening we were looking forward to watching something on one of our streamers that unaccountably threw us off    V spent the best part of 2 hours before realizing it was because we’d cancelled Sky.  I went into my headphones and watched another episode of This City is Ours and read the London Review of Books, quite peaceful really.
