Mortal remain of 5668 in Wittersham Yard

Took a series of shots of this engine using the Panasonic but wanted to use them all, but couldn't find software to do it easily, so emailed them to myself and picked them up on the iPhone, then used Pic Stitch to create the collage which I then exported by email so that I could upload to Blipfoto. Thought about using the Blip App but that would have uploaded it as 16th August!

This engine is an unrestored Collett 56XX 0-6-2T from the Pontypool and Blaenavon Railway and was delivered to Wittersham on 7th August 2013. Hopefully it will be restored to the same condition as 6619 which joined the railway last year. Not really sure why the Railway has acquired this loco, maybe for spares but may be with the long term aim of full restoration for use on the proposed extension to Robertsbridge. Motive power of this quality will be needed for the longer journey between Tenterden and Robertsbridge. But, as you can tell, there's quite a bit to do.
