Two B&W pictures

I like both images. One was taken today and has a lot of action, the other was taken 100 years ago and everyone in it is still.
The old picture (extra) comes from the municipal art gallery in town and an exhibition of photos taken approximately 100 years ago, by amateur photographer Teodor Sörlin. His family were visiting Sälsten (Seal stones) which is still a place for summer visitors today.
The second picture shows two dancers from Härnösand's Norrdans (Northern Contemporary Dance Company) performing a part of their "Stuff in the Park" performance. There are 5 parts to this performance and this was the only one performed on a stage. All the others took place on the grass and there was a lot of contact between dancers and audience. Norrdans seems to like to have an moment of angst-filled dance in every program and that was the only one of the five pieces I really wondered about. But maybe others appreciated the writhing contortions of the tortured soul in that part of the event! Personally I preferred the lighter moments. But it was an excellent performance and we were very glad we went to watch.
We met Lonny and Karin there and invited them home for a snack which turned out to be rhubarb and ice cream, plus scones. We sat outside in the sun and as short periods of rain swept by we each raised an umbrella. It was a little surrealistic to see 4 umbrellas go up as the first drops fell, and then go down again a minute later as the rain stopped!
