Killing Fields
Wednesday today so the day started with church. There were some strange faces around the hall cat park area so I went to see what was going on. Our project manager and some contractors checking out the hall to do some price estimates. Looks like our refurbishment works are going to be able to go ahead after all.
I found the service today was just what I needed and have me some welcome race in all the busy-ness.
After church I headed home and cleared some stuff out of the bedroom, we have friends coming to stay who can't manage to get up our stairs so we're moving out to let them in the downstairs bedroom. Only problem is that means clearing out the junk too!
We went out for lunch to a very nice wee cafe at the foot of the Walk called Not Just Coffee. I had a really tasty chai and a smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel. Very tasty and one of the best chais I've had in a long time.
Back home to wrap a couple of presents for D for his birthday on Friday and an otherwise quiet evening.
We're off to the East Neuk tomorrow for a nostalgic visit for our US guests. We're taking both cars as we've six people travelling. We may split up for part of the time. The ladies car is stopping at Falkland on the way.
My blip is of what is left of a pigeon in the church grounds! I don't think it got away somehow.
