A Spray of English Roses

The weather cheered up from the end of the morning. Basil and I Ceclied down to The Flower Lady where I had a delicious decaf latte and Basil was able to meet Roo and lay out on the ground.

These roses hang over the well in the courtyard. The well is used for wastewater disposal, not drawing drinking water.

Extras are of rambling red roses hanging over the wall next to Mr Ryatt's and of incipient conkers on the horse chestnut tree at the start of the estate.
