Goslings .

First walk over to the pond since we came back from holiday.
The goslings have certainly grown and are beginning to get their feathers.
No ducklings although I counted 14 mallards. However only 2 females. 
We did take raincoats but it stayed fine until we got home. Then we had a shower followed by a sunny and warm afternoon.
After making a fruit cake I spent the rest of the afternoon in the garden. Have almost filled the brown bin which fortunately is to be emptied tomorrow.

Now hearing about a heatwave on the way!
