Deception
Little Man didn't sleep well last night and this led to a rough night for both of us. We had a slow start to the day, but it was rewarding. Little Man got his third gold star for his potty usage, and thus had a lolly as a second breakfast. I'm hoping this is incentive enough for him to start using the potty more.
We had a pretty busy rest of the day. We went to Woerden to pick up a few things for our upcoming trip to England and the Isle of Man in July. I don't want to leave everything to the last minute, my stress levels and my bank account won't thank me for it.
We got home, chilled for about an hour and then hopped onto my bike and headed out to Reeuwijk, for Little Man's speech therapy season. The weather app said that there might be rain, which did hit on route there. It only lasted a few minutes but meant I had to pocket my glasses for the rest of the ride, as they were so wet and fogged up that I couldn't see anything.
The appointment went well and Little Man really enjoyed it. We then came home, with mostly clear skies and the wind behind us. We had dinner together and then I got Little Man ready for bed. I let him play for a while before I took him up.
I have life group this evening, which is why I'm posting this before the babysitter arrives and I need to leave. Thankfully tomorrow will be quiet. Its a public holiday, so we're staying in (no public transport through our village).
