New, new and new
It was transplant clinic day. The nerves were jangling early.
I didn't have too long to wait, they were pretty efficient today. The transplant nurse reviewed my case, but first she had to ask about my foot. I decided to wear the big boot, so we had a good discussion and I have lost weight. Think how much I would have lost if I hadn't been stupid? Anyway, weight was down and the results from my 24 hour blood pressure monitor showed that when I'm in the house and living normally my blood pressure is pretty good. And luckily the result in clinic was also good, so she was very happy. I was a happy ValleyAllBlack when I left clinic today.
I've also had some of my blood test results back this afternoon, not my main kidney markers though, just my iron test results and they were all good.
On the way back from the hospital I picked up my new glasses, you can see them in the blip. So, not only do I have a new suit, new shoes, I also have new glasses. My bank manager is not very happy. Lol!
The rest of the day has been pretty quiet.
I have worn my new shoes for an hour, so that I can get used to them. I've not had any reaction with my foot.
Today I am thankful for:
1. A good transplant clinic
2. Wearing in my new shoes
3. Picking up my new swanky glasses ready for the wedding
