Japanese maple

This Japanese maple was planted in 2021 and it is doing well, along with everything else in the garden. The customer told me he replaced the lawn twice in 5 years and both times had problems getting it to grow. So he hired me to turn it into a garden. The first couple of years he looked after it himself, then he decided he would get me in to maintain it.

I thought I was going to have the evening free but then my phone rang around supper time. The guy I use for lawn mowing gave my card to someone who saw him doing some mowing and stopped to ask him what else he did. The guy needs a lot of work done so Zachary gave him my card. He called me right away and since he is only about 5 minutes away I went over after supper. I ended up talking to him for 1.5 hours. It's going to be another ongoing project for likely the next year or 2.

We finished working around 2:15 today. So I brought some of the workers back to my place to start clearing off the rest of the bank so I can get more things planted. We also got my planters out of the shed and filled some of them. Maybe I will get some of them planted on Thursday evening. At the moment I don't have any quotes booked.
