Breakfast time …

… for them and for me. Spotted this lovely scene of a male sparrow feeding it’s young through the back porch window which becomes my ‘breakfast room’ at this time of the year! It’s too cold from October to April but has lovely light and a good view of the back garden. 
This afternoon, after work, I was delighted to see a Great spotted woodpecker on the old bird feeder, we see them only once or twice a year so it was a surprise and a delight, sadly no pictures to blip but hopefully I will have another chance soon.
