Learning fast

I don’t know how many days old the cygnets are at my local loch but they already know how to groom their feathers just like their Mum and Dad. This was my first visit to see the new arrivals, there are six of them altogether. The parents have taken them away from the nest, which is in quite an open area of the loch, to this little secluded patch, hopefully this tactic will help to keep them safe.
