There must have been a dozen or more 'dashing' around after the tiny insects flying over the pond this morning. This Girl was taking a brief break from the hunt. Female Blue Dashers sport a light brown stripped abdomen and red eyes, setting them apart from the bros. In both sexes, their bright blue color 'frosts' with age. Ah well...  m
