Too late

The hosepipes eventually arrived today, at what seems to be the very end of the dry spell. Rain is forecast for tonight, and during the next week. Never mind - next time there's a dry spell I'll be able to water the front garden without trailing a hosepipe through the house!

An hour or so in the garden this morning, enjoying some sunshine and planting sedum in the nooks and crannies between the rocks in the front garden.  Hopefully it will spread.

Walked in to Holmfirth to the surgery this afternoon for a follow-up appointment with the GP,  to report that since starting back on the statin my leg pain has returned and is once more keeping me awake at night. Agreed to keep on with the same statin, but at a lower dose, to see whether that will make a difference in terms of side effects and still keep my cholesterol at an acceptable level. Fingers crossed...
