Buttercups and grasses

We travel back up to Cumbria in the morning for a few days until we drive to Aberdeen on Saturday for an overnight stay ready to catch the ferry to the Shetlands on Sunday evening. We have a week in Quarff to the south of Lerwick then a week on Yell. This was all planned a year ago before we had any idea what would be happening this summer.

The day was, as you might expect, filled with a vast range of tasks relating to the final touches to the house for the photographs on Wednesday, a trip to the tip with cardboard, wood and other recycling and packing stuff for the next three weeks.

We did find time for a walk - today’s blip was taken in Mote Park and was the only shot I took all day.
