A Tribute to Mark E. Smith?

I presume, in the Quire of Manchester Cathedral. We’re here for a few days by way of a belated Anniversary treat. We got the train up in the morning and went to a matinee performance of ‘Abigail’s Party’ at the Royal Exchange - starring Kym Marsh off of Corrie, no less. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I really enjoyed it, even down to the slightly elderly hen party vibe of a fair element of the audience. We went in earlier on and had lunch in the Theatre cafe too, which we used to think was the height of sophistication when we went to Manchester for the day back in the Eighties..! Later on we had a very nice meal at Maray and Beck even took me to find the famous Vimto statue as a little treat along the way…!
