In A Bit Of A Pickle
When we were in Japan recently, we particularly enjoyed the variety of pickles that came with meals so, this afternoon, I thought I’d have a go at making a ginger and radish pickle. Obviously, it hasn’t had time to mature yet but trial tastings suggest it’s going to pack a warming punch!
If I tell you that that’s probably been the highlight of my day you will gather what a dull Bank Holiday Monday it’s been both weather and activity wise, though we did manage a swim this morning.
