Street Mural
I’ve blipped two of the murals on the wall of the former Street Library garden before now. They record aspects of local life from earlier times. This one reflects the history of quarrying in the area which led to the discovery of numerous fossils in the local lias stone in Victorian times, including those of ichthyosaurs.
I took this photo at the end of our regular Sunday afternoon walk with Chris.
We all enjoyed a swim this morning followed by a Sunday brunch before Kate and Sophie headed home.
Later I watched Man Utdks exciting win at home to Aston Villa and a tense climax to the Premier League season.
