I would love to say

..that these are the young long tailed tits whose parents I blipped earlier in the year first nest building then feeding their progeny - but it is, in fact, a different family which I saw today on Winnall Moors.  However, these youngsters are very much of the same age and stage as those others will be now and it was wonderful to see them.  It almost felt like completing the story.  I've put another shot in extras of a pair of them.

Apart from that I seem to have had a day of looking after grand-dogs: first walking Hazel and Bram and in a minute feeding Duke.  Honestly, the paths down which motherhood leads you!
