wonderful people

Edinburgh has a band of wonderful parking wardens whose sole purpose in life is to make us motorists happy. They cheerfully wave you into spaces, point you towards streets where parking is free, and happily tear up a ticket if it turns out you've made a genuine mistake. They regularly get nominated for the Public Servants of the year award, and visitors from all over the world hail their diplomatic skills and welcoming nature. Some of these fine men can go for months without issuing a fine; such is their dedication to keeping the motorist happy, stress free and able to go about their business without aggravation or stress. I just don't know what we would do without them...
