Eyjafjörður

What a nice day we had today! We drove south into Eyjafjörður and saw a lot a beautiful scenery and man-made constructions. This photo is of Grundarkirkja, which they claim is the most beautiful church in Iceland outside Reykjavík.

We also walked in the oldest planted forest, where the first trees were planted in 1900. It is situated in the same land as this church. I actually don't like forests that much, but the history and variety of this one was very appealing. We found lots of mushrooms too, but they were all rather old. No berries, though.
