Silos, cranes and lights

Much of the harbour is being redeveloped,
We are starting to see miles of wire fence ,
floodlights and flat concrete standings.
All very efficient, but rather soulless.
Not to mention the plans for a Super Port in Nigg Bay.
Apparently this will allow in really big ships and cruise liners.
Hopefully all this won't change the harbour too much
although every development seems to push the public further away.
I can remember when you could walk out on the breakwaters,
but now the harbour board is just concerned about health and safety
and keeping us out.
