Sunday Funday ...

... Yellow-shafted Northern Flicker.

I could not believe my luck when this beautiful (male) Yellow-shafted Northern Flicker stopped by today as I was sitting in the greenhouse! I rarely get the opportunity to get shots like this of these wonderful large woodpeckers.  I think I took at least 100 shots of him.   And very happy with most of them.  I've added another to my Facebook feed.

In other news:  Later in the day we went over to Louise Moore County Park for a lovely walk.  The weather was decent enough that I didn't need a coat ... but not quite warm enough for shorts just yet.  Maybe tomorrow ...
