Daddy’s Girl!

Surprisingly for a Bank Holiday weekend, G asks me where I’d like to go today. Any outing needs to be planned with consideration of westbound A55 traffic, so heading east to Meols seems sensible. And after all, we haven’t seen Lili for two whole weeks!

Sure enough, the traffic is two lanes nose-to-tail for miles - but free-flowing in our direction.

Despite predictions that rain would replace sun, we sit out in the garden eating ice cream from Churn and Chill. We’ve all gone for banana and chocolate crunch with lime and pistachio cheesecake, and Lili wanders between us taking a tasting spoon from each of us - she absolutely loves it!

Obviously, I have my camera, but there are relatively few opportunities to use it. Lili’s pretty much non—stop these days, so catching moments isn’t easy and to be honest, I’m rather tired and happy to just sit and watch.

We only stay a few hours, and as we leave there’s a chance to get some shots of Lili with her daddy, and some shots of all three of them - or four counting Solveig’s rapidly expanding bump!
