Maggie Seems Ready
..for her close-up!
A spurt of energy out of nowhere threw her up onto the fireplace mantel where she stopped for a few moments to pose for a portrait! And then the exploring began..(extra) and she did not break a thing. Cats are so fleet of foot. Good to see her feeling a little more spry today....
Another rather dull and dreary day spent mostly indoors ...again! A wee trip to the library and the grocery store...not much else.
Shawn popped by to mow the lawn and update me on his plans for the garden....first, the heroic task of weeding for which he is bringing in reinforcements.... a fellow gardener will spend a day with him to do the best they can with that! Gout weed is a formidable opponent! Then will follow some pruning and the beginning of a planting project along the fence - primarily hydrangeas it seems. Now, if only we could get some sunshine and warm weather to make all that work bearable!
My apologies...I am trying to keep caught up with everyone's Blip journals but am falling so far behind that it seems to be an almost insurmountable task. "How does one eat an elephant?" comes to mind..but it will take a LOT of little bites! and yes, a lot of "High Hopes" to move a rubber tree plant...but apparently it can be done?
