STORMY WEATHER
Well it blew a reet hoolie during the night woth rain, but this morning the rain had stopped, thesun came out amongst the clouds but it was very windy.
We went over to see Mum. On the way as soon as we joined the M6 at Junction 36 a sign on the M6 came us saying 40 MPH, oh criipes we thought, then further on there was a notice to say "Report of Pedestrians" so rather than risk further hold ups we came off at Carnforth and then drove along the top part of the Prom.
I'm actually glad we did as the tide was really high and there was fabulous waves. So I got Hubby to stop, just for a few minutes so I could take a few photos, this being one of them.
I would rather have been near the Yacht Club as you get better shots there but we couldn't and we were on our way to see Mum, so this will hae to suffice.
We caught up, did a few chores for her. My Brother and his Partner popped in so we had another lovely catch up.
We left at our usual time and although still very windy the tide was well out of course so I wouldn't have got much in the way of photos.
That's it for today - do take care and stay safe and I will see you all tomorrow.
