Dream Cat

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

A random memory came back to me, of me and Caro in Ocean Terminal shopping mall in around 2004. 

There was one of those pop-up stalls in there, and they were selling toy battery-powered cats. The cats were lying in toy cat-beds and just sleeping, their little tummies going up and down. As I recall the toy cats were mainly white with black patterns. 

Just like Punky and Jasper. 

I remember me and Caro looking at them, back the days when we were still renting and catless. I seriously thought about getting one. 

And now here we are, over twenty years later and we have our own sleepy kitty, his tummy going up and down on a Sunday afternoon. 

It feels like I'm literally living the dream sometimes.
