Danger Noodle!

This is an eastern copperhead. They are venomous - and certainly something to be avoided whilst gardening. It was spotted a couple of days ago by The Husband, down in a weedy area where I have been trying to grow wildflowers. I have, in the past, done a lot of basically useless weeding down there. But since he saw the copperhead, I've backed off! Today he spotted it again in the very same place, so I got a photo of it this time. I guess that particular area will have to fend for itself for now.
