The way home…….

………from our Saturday pub lunch,
Only this time we had it at 5:00pm, as we spent some time with our son and three of the grandchildren and Bree the dog, at the Mitchell’s Farmhouse Bistro. We all walked there. They came from their home and we did half of our usual circular.
We sat outside at the bench tables. I had an ordinary chair,
The children spotted some friends so had a great time.
The kids each had an ice cream.
Toby had a vegan sorbet, being lactose intolerant.
It stayed dry and fairly warm, but felt like it would rain eventually
When we left the pub around 6:30pm it must have rained fairly hard.
And some heavy showers by the look of the puddles at the side of the roads in places.
It was 17C at 6:00pm.
And will be a warm night, from our perspective at least!
