It would be a great
weekend if it were not for
annoying neighbours!

I was slow departing the house this morning. Of course, the garage sale was already underway next door when I left at 8 AM.
My goal this morning was to see if the Paul Lake Provincial Park was now open - and it was.
I stopped along Schedam Flats to catch the horses. They were conveniently close to the roadway this morning. I love the paints (pintos). One dutiful mare stood guard over her sleeping foal by the fence.
I stopped for a shot of the old cabin, then drove straight on to the park.
A doe and buck were coming up onto the roadway into the park. They were cautious of me and kept their distance. I got the one shot of the buck looking back at me through the trees.
Paul Lake is filling as the upper level snows melt. All looked bright and beautiful around the lake this morning.
I was completely worn out yesterday, but today I'm hopeful I will have some energy to get something done.
