Heath Spotted Orchid
Another busy day.
After a walk in the woods, off to do sports training with Keely.
Then onto a local paddock to let Dina use up some of her energy. During our walk I noticed an little area that had a few of these flowers, my app told me what they were.
Went for a 5km run when I got home, struggling to get any faster ;-)
Before having a shower thought I would get my new water butt connected so that it would start collecting water if it rains. We haven't had much recently, mainly just mizzly and not even soaking into the ground. What I thought would be a relatively easy connection turned into a stressful time wondering if I needed to find someone to help hold things. Once I cut through the down pipe and tried to fit the diverter the down pipe disconnected itself from the gutter and it wouldn't go back on. Rethink, ladder out from the garage, platform made from some spare paving slabs and I managed to get it reconnected at the top. Really needed someone to hold it while got the diverter sorted, but jamming it on the diverter shoulder with a horse shoe (the only thing I could reach without it all falling apart again) stuck on top of the lower part of the down pipe, held it enough while I unscrewed the brackets to give me some leverage to get the diverter in both parts of the down pipe. And breathe....
Fitted the pipe into the water butt, fingers crossed.
Now I can sit down and watch Monaco grand Prix qualifying
