THIS IS MY BEST SIDE

A trip into town this morning.  Didn't need much as hubby did the shopping yesterday.  Just as well as it was very busy down there.  Well it is a Bank Holiday, Half-Term I believe and the Cartmel Races are on so it's bound to be.

Not doing too much today, just doing a bit of a research to a "possible" trip to Harrogate or Knaresborough in October, preferably self catering - more space, more freedom and cheaper but it very much depends on the length of stay etc.  Just a casual look for now as it depends on several things on whether we go or not, but it's fun to do the research and learn new things.  Looks like an area we would like, its just going to a larger place makes me a bit nervous nowadays,  but then just a few years ago we had a great week in York and loved it.

That's all for today.  I was pleased to captured this blackbird as he didn't stay still very long, two seconds later and he was off and the re-appeared and disappeared etc - they are fun to watch though.
