Thirsty For More
It's been a busy day.
I actually did an hour of gardening this morning - well, weeding, taking out the obvious weeds, and hopefully none of the new plants. I should have paid more attention when the gardener planted them a while back.
The on to Gloucester, lunch in Nandos, outlet shopping for mrsfb, The Phoenician Scheme for me. I can see why people say, look Wes Anderson's made his film again. I think I enjoyed it, but it won't be one of my favourites. Lots of amazingly constructed intricate sets, sort of a plot, lots of great actors, all delivering performances in episodic fashion in the current Wes Anderson way. I would really like him to produce a film with some character development though, with a bit more emotional rather than purely technical/geometrical content. You have to be a fan I think. There were just 6 people watching including me.
More people than were watching the Test match though.
Mrsfb didn't buy anything of course, I wasn't surprised :-)
