FLUFFY FRIDAY

“Now look ere, Mrs. HCB, we know you need a Blip for today, but do you really have to stand in your garden trying to pretend you are a tree, so that we can keep feeding our babies who are almost ready to come out of the nest?

We know you’re not a tree because we can’t see any green leaves, but because you have been kind to us and provided us with a lovely nesting box, we let you take some shots - now just go away and let us get on with our job of helping our babies to fledge.

We have been working our socks off to find lots of grubs for our fluffy babies and now we think they are ready to go out into the world and before long they will be able to fend for themselves.  There are lots of grubs on various plants in the HCBs’ garden - see extra - so they won’t go hungry, and there are also lots of trees nearby, so we can shelter in them at night.  There is a lot to teach our babies, but then again, humans do it all the time and their babies learn, so we hope ours will too.

Thank you Mr. & Mrs. HCB for all your kindness and thank you lovely Blippers for allowing us our 15 minutes of fame on Blip.  Who knows, we may even see you again later in the summer or if not, then next year.”
