Himallium

Just as it seems all the work around the house has been completed, there’s a leak in one of the new radiators.  The gas service engineer is supposed to be calling this morning ‘between 8 and 12’ but needless to say this doesn’t happen, so G spends some time trying to sort this out. Hopefully, it will be tomorrow…….it all seems depressingly familiar! 

Then it’s out to buy our summer bedding plants - now that my wonderful tulips have finally given up the ghost. I’m disappointed that I can’t find any cosmos or necotiana. I really should grow them from seed, but as it is there will have to be a last minute order from Sarah Raven 

It seems quite a while since I’ve participated in Ingeborg’s Abstract Challenge, so today seems a good time to set this right with a double exposure of a rather bedraggled Himalayan poppy and an allium - a ‘Himallium’
