Book club on the beach

What a day! I was up and out early and on the road. I arrived here late morning. Lynn's beach house is so beautiful and big! All of us arrived at the same time and got settled. When we went to our rooms on each of our beds was a small clutch bag with the Long Beach Island name on it. A gift from our gracious host.
We enjoyed a delicious lunch that was served in the dining room. Then it was off to the beach. I am now sitting here enjoying the company of my friends as well as my mom who gave us all a good laugh a few minutes ago.
She sat down on her beach chair and the back sunk into the sand which caused her fall slowly backwards, ending up like a turtle that has been flipped over on it's back. I quickly got up a got a photo before helping her as she was laughing so hard she couldn't move. I was laughing so hard I almost passed out!
Well it's nap time now to recharge before dinner!
