Sketchy

A most enjoyable morning sketching in the Explorers' Garden at the theatre.

I divided my time between the reflection pond and the meconopses which were looking rather lovely. 

The garden itself was looking good with the rhododendrons in blooms as well as the meconopses.

As ever I enjoyed sketching (with some chatting) in the company of others. It is really interesting seeing the different approaches taken to the same scene. 

I was pleased that the weather held for our "outing" and it looks like it will be fine for tomorrow's swim. However much needed rain is forecast for the weekend. 

Supper with one of the local groups I involved in beckons tonight.
