Puffin

A cycle around Stronsay, and a fair walk along the cliffs by the Vat of Kirbuster, where this puffin was one of about six. Plenty of birds about, but mainly at a distance- gullemots and razorbills, Arctic skuas and terns, pintails, sanderlings, dunlin, bar-tailed godwits etc. At one point I thought I saw a ring ouzel in flight, but it disappeared before I could get off the bike and get it in the bins. I counted 47 shags on nests with others in attendance.
