Bee-eater

I cycled to Tingwall, ferry to Rousay, then a nice cycle around the island, with a walk around Faraclett Head.
On Saturday there was a report of a bee-eater in Muddisdale, a small wood on the edge of Kirkwall and I looked for it without success. It was seen again today so I stopped there on the way home and saw the bird. This is the second I have seen in Orkney. Pretty good Kirkwall week- red-backed shrike a few days ago and now the bee-eater.
