Sumptuous colours line the hedgerows and gardens at the moment, pleasing to the eyes and generally the best medicine for every cure if you are fortunate enough to be able to get outdoors and are mobile.
After a short walk down the lane Dippy and I crossed the railway line at an appropriate place and time:))
The estuary edge/beach is vast and has plenty of interesting bird life and shellfish for Dippy’s inquiring nature.
Nearer to the village we met some interesting likeminded people with canines in their attendance.
After socialising with the only other people on the site and a good breakfast I set off on my first bike ride , along the coast road before ascending the steep slopes leading out of Ferryside in mid 20’s Celsius.. I popped in to see cousin J and enjoyed a drink in her sun drenched garden.before the return trip and cooling descent to the village.
After showering and a light snack we strolled along the coast and estuary avoiding the rabbit warren which Dippy finds quite interesting:))
A leisurely walk back meeting more of the local community and listening to the birds and the noisy rooks.
Kedgeree in a fashion before planning tomorrow mornings adventures.
