Front garden.
Two gardeners spent the whole of yesterday digging out the roots of a climbing plant that had taken over the entire length of the garden wall.
At last it is done, even though I am left with a mess to clear up. One bag at a time and it will be done before the next green rubbish collection in two weeks.
Meanwhile flowering shrubs are brightening the garden and my mood.
When I was young I used to hate pink, preferring mostly dark shades of green and earthy colours. Now I adore pink and I have no idea why. I bet a shrink would know the reason.
