Holiday # 7 After the rain

this poppy has gone rather blousy :)

Last night a good friend came round to bring the stuff out of my loft, but there was nothing much up there! 3 boxes of really old paperwork that is too dusty for me to deal with at the moment, an old coffee set with tiny cups given to me by my grandparents (ok I could blip that at some point), not worth a lot now AND my tripod!!

I thought I'd got rid of it a few years ago when my old camera (films and all) stopped working, so I'm really pleased to have found it again and even went out in the rainy garden to take a few shots using it ;)

It is rather heavy, but will do for around the home and garden. Tried it out to take my shot today. Rather dully and wet, but the poppies were fairly bright :)

I am confused with one part of my tripod which doesn't seem to fit on the rest...does anyone know what this extra part is for?

Now I am told by another blipper, there are small, lighter tripods around and I might see if I can get one for going out and about sometime!

In other news, I woke up with a lot of joint pain today (not only in my knee), so it has so far been mostly a duvet day! Not a lot planned anyway, just a little tidying up in the lounge, so I can see the table again :)

Sad to say my holiday is almost over and I don't really want to go back to work but needs must....

Update Blue Butterfly I have never seen this one in my garden before :) Any ideas? Spotted it after posting my earlier blip!
