Cromarty Firth from the Bridge.....again!

I know, another sunset!
But it was just so pretty....I couldn't resist!

Actually there were many many more pictures - starting with the Moray Firth and culminating at the Cromarty Firth - so think yourself lucky to get off lightly with just this one!
......It took me awhile to get home from Inverness tonight!

It was the Art Society Annual Exhibition preview night tonight, so all of the Highlands and Islands arty glitterati were out in force ;o) including me and mum! (*cough* I'm about as glitterati as Worzel Gummage)
It was a really nice evening. I'd met up with Mags beforehand for a catchup and coffee before we both headed to the preview and met mum and dad there to peruse some art :o)
The standard is actually incredibly high (loads were sold right away!) and I felt rather over-awed by all these lovely paintings, especially in comparison to my rather paltry offerings. Maggie assured me that she liked mine very much - but best friends have to say that don't they?!
My dad considered them to be 'alright', which is high praise indeed! lol.
