Warkworth Blipmeet

To round off a very successful time in Northumberland our last full day was spent having a Blipmeet in Warkworth with davidc and his good lady ‘the Editor’. As with all Blipmeets I’m involved in there was a lot of natter, a hearty meal and even more natter. It was great to finally meet up.

We have stayed in Warkworth before so no need to visit the castle or walk too far along the river. I’ve added a postcard of a few things that caught my eye. The pub we eat in had a great sign outside welcoming dogs and muddy boots. What might not show up is the very small light chalk marks underneath which appears to have been part of the original design: ‘children welcome’. Maybe they had a change of heart…
