Auntie Jill

Having driven to Chichester last night with my parents and stayed overnight, this morning we attended Auntie Jill's funeral.
My second cousin once removed ( we are a close if rather extended family ) Sara, (Jills daughter) (our little surrogate sister) welcomed everyone and did a wonderful job organising everything.
Despite the sad reason for being there it was lovely to meet up with family members not seen in years ! My sisters and I were so pleased to meet up with Chris and Jane after 40 odd years ! The years fell away as we laughed and talked together. Altogether a most enjoyable day !
