Scottish government

The bike on the picture is my new bike, Becca! Today its the first day we have been going out and about in Edinburgh : ) 

My dear dear old bike, Anne, was due too old to afford fixing it - both wheels needed change + pedals + handle bars...- . For months I was riding it since I couldn't afford buying a new one and I was very self conscious of spending money on buses.

Recently I was offered by the job center a small loan with 0% interest that I could access in case I needed it . So decided to invest it on my much needed road safety! 

I'm so glad I did. I felt very safe cycling today . I'm so grateful for this small economic gesture ... it means a lot ot me !
