Helmet!

This is the brave lady who has organised the crafts for this week, wearing today's craft - a Roman helmet! This proved to be quite a headache, as the kids had to paint the helmet gold and, even with the use of hairdryers, the paint was very reluctant to dry! So extra time had to be allowed, which put the timetable out a bit, but we left out a song and more or less finished on time :-)

I had to do registration today as the wife of the man who was due to be doing it was rushed into hospital this morning. Fortunately, she is probably all right now and will probably be out this evening. I am unconnected to any particular group of children, which leaves me free to fill in wherever needed. I also clean the toilets at the end of the morning and take the tea towels home for washing, so jack-of-all-trades really!
