A grey start to my
day again this morning....but
I hope for sunshine

I was awake just before 6 but I'm not feeling very energetic. I feel a cold coming on. Ugh! 

I made my jaunt this morning a quick one and not far from home. I drove down Schubert Drive making a view across to my mountains my first shot. I turned into the Schubert Drive Lookout but there was already a van parked there. When I got out with my camera there was a strong smell of cannabis in the air. I kept my distance from the van. 

I did a quick walk around the little park, first getting a shot down river to the city. The high tower that is under construction continues to grow. 

I found some iris and some narcissus blooming under the trees. I'm always amazed that flowers survive here. I always expect someone would have helped themselves to take them home. 

There was a very quiet pair of Canada geese walking along the river's edge. No goslings were seen. 

I made it home with my breakfast before 8. I'm hoping for a low-key day at home.
