Naughty bitch
Babe has worked out how to open the 'dog proof' bin when she has been left for too long/often and she is pissed at us. At first I thought I kept forgetting to lock the lid or lock it but not close it properly. I tested it after this and with a certain amount of pulling and pawing (evident by claw marks on side of bin) it's relatively easy to open. Since we have taken away her favorite treat of a loaf of bread, this is her new thing. Have to think of a way of dog proofing it. All good prep for kids!
Top pic is babe this eve in her usual "nose down gopher hole" stance. Hasn't caught one yet, she stands prone for ages and then begins to destroy the grass as she digs them up. At which point we make a swift exit as its not our property or even our complex!
So so at work. The boss has fired out an email to everyone who went to the conference to come up with 2-3 things they learnt for our projects. It may be in response to the fact that he noticed half the lab missing on sat. I feel like saying we don't do our work like proper cancer researchers do, and it was all rather pointless, but I have thought of a few things for him to shoot down.
Am leaning immunohistochemistry at the moment. Will see if it works thurs.
First game for the new soccer season for me tonight. Missed last weeks as was too early and couldn't make it home from work with dog walking duties in time. Anyway they narrowly lost 4-3 in dying secs which is better than I predicted. Tonight we went one better and thrashed a bunch of dirty (in fouling sense) Mexicans 10-3. Got a few assists and a few bruises from some tough tackling that the ref allowed. Had a couple of ringers who were superb, and new keeper who is much better than the last which is good.
Planned on picking wife up from train station on way back, but delayed over 2 hours so came back to walk babe again and take her with me to pick her up later.
